Verona

“. . . there is no world outside the walls of Verona. . .”  (William Shakespeare)
In 2000 Verona was recognised as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for being an Italian city as an example of urban structure, in which artistic and architectural integration are characterized by a continuous development of 2000 years and a very high quality.
In fact, this enchanting city has been able to preserve over time a large number of ancient monuments, medieval and Renaissance as the famous Arena built to accommodate the fights between gladiators in Roman times while today is the picturesque setting in which the opera and concerts take place.
Verona is known and appreciated by tourists who visit it all year round also for its “romantic"; side, considered the city of “Love"; par excellence. A romantic walk can only start from the “House of Juliet" admiring its famous balcony, on which Juliet faced to speak with her Romeo, made immortal by the words of William Shakespeare.
